Changes of power in the Promised Land, from Biblical times until 1947, were decided by war, not by the choice of the people. In November 1947 the U.N. attempted to make a peaceful change in ownership which failed, resulting in the 1948 war. Since then, power has continued to be decided by war. It has been said, “He who ignores history, relives it.”
