We are seeking an outstanding professional to serve as our Engagement/ Programming Coordinator.  This full-time position will serve as a highly visible, warm, and friendly liaison to all segments our community, with special attention to our young families. The Coordinator will work with volunteers and other professional staff to design and implement programming that creates opportunities for our congregants to connect with each other and with Judaism in new and exciting ways.  The Coordinator will also work with the Director of KoREH, the congregational religious school, in an assistant administrative position.

Tech Helpers for Zoom Presentations
Needed: Tech Helpers for Zoom Presentations
Purpose: handle the Tech side so the Presenter can focus on presentation
Description: Ability or willing to learn how to- help presenter share screen as needed, monitor and facilitate attendee entrances to meeting, mute and unmute attendees as needed, record meeting to the KR Zoom cloud account, monitor the message board
Time Commitment: the duration of the meeting and possibly a rehearsal.
Support: Training available. Meir sends the Zoom link and can give account access.
Benefit to you: opportunity to learn Zoom and help presentations run more smooth and professional.

You can help the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry during the Coronavirus Pandemic by donating money or donating food. Below are some suggestions for food items the pantry needs for the month of November:
1. Canned Tuna Fish or Chicken
2. Peanut Butter & Jelly
3. Healthy Snacks
4. Healthy Cereals (please no sugary cereals)
5. Kosher Non-Perishable Foods
6. Spaghetti, Tomato Sauce and Other Pastas
7. Canned Vegetables (corn, peas, carrots, beans)
8. Personal care items such as: Toilet Paper, Kleenex and Paper Towels

Currently, the need is great so please help in any way you can. Thank you.

The New Jewish Thinker
Purpose: share The New Jewish Thinker.   
Board of Trustees: A Five Person Board is overseeing the site. 
Description: The New Jewish Thinker ( is a site created by Kol Rinah member, Daphne Drohobyczer.
It provides an place for writers of all stripes to publish their work. Genres include Jewish Studies, Poems & Short Stories, opinion pieces, travel logs and much more.  Currently approx. 90 pieces published. Most, but not all,  contributors are Kol Rinah members.   
Expectations: Submission of a proofread final copy that has a Jewish theme.
Benefit to you: Here's a chance to have your writing published for wider audience to read!

Young Families Picnic Blanket Fundraiser
Buy your own reversible water resistant picnic blanket. They come with a cute little bag and carrying strap.  Since we have many outdoor events this summer, they will get a lot of use!
Proceeds go toward programming for Kol Rinah Young Families.
Cost is $36.00.  Order form below.
This 70" x 50" blanket is made with 260 gram brushed fleece on one side and water resistant coated gray nylon on the reverse side. It comes with a 13" x 17" x 2" gray nylon carrying bag with a zipper and black strap for easy carrying.

Our next task for the Memorial plaques is to sort by family groups. We could use your help!
Description: sign up singly or with a teammate to sort from a list into labeled boxes.
