KRECC has started off 2020 by making the most of the cold winter days. When the weather isn’t conducive for playing outside, teachers have gone out and collected fallen snow and brought it inside for the children to play with. On the rare occasion when the winter weather turns out to be 60 degrees, you take advantage of it and you take the children outside! 

In February, we celebrated Tu Bishvat with activities in our ECC hallway. Children and families had an opportunity to “plant” and “dig” in our sensory bin, use a variety of green objects to decorate tree branches, paint trees with brown and green paint, and sample eight different foods during a freeze dance game. We continued learning about Tu Bishvat in class and also planted parsley with Shaked in honor of the holiday.

We are starting to plan for summer camp and the 2020-2021 school year. Enrollment for prospective families begins March 2. Most classes already have wait lists for the 2020-2021 school year.
