Kol Rinah Vision, Mission, Inclusion

VISION: A dynamic and forward-looking congregation where all generations come together to experience Judaism in innovative ways.
MISSION: Create a welcoming community that embraces Torah, meaningful worship, lifelong learning, music, Israel, and tikkun olam, guided by the tenets of Conservative Judaism.

Virtual Minyanim with Kol Rinah
We will not have in-person minyanim or Shabbat services for the coming weeks.  Kol Rinah's daily minyanim will be held via Zoom.  Join us via your computer or phone. We will say kaddish if we have a minyan present in the Zoom meeting.
Please note: we will not have services Thursday, April 9-Saturday April 11, as they will be the first days of Passover and then Shabbat.

Kol Rinah Office
Beginning Tuesday 3/17, the office will not be open to the public. We will continue to receive and respond to phone calls and emails. Meetings will happen via zoom or on the phone. Our staff, clergy and synagogue leadership are working and available. Please let us know any way we can be helpful to you or your family, or others you know of during this difficult time.  We are trying to figure out the best ways to sustain ourselves and our community during this time of physical isolation, and we anticipate that we'll learn and evolve in our responses. 
Kol Rinah Early Childhood Center
Kol Rinah's Early Childhood Center is also closing effective Tuesday morning 3/17.  ECC staff and parents will receive additional information directly from the school. 
We will also schedule classes on Zoom, with topics and times to be announced.

Morah Shelley has set up a way to connect with others remotely, while still having all of the fun of a rhythm and ruach session. Shelley includes yoga, music, and storytimes! A donation of $25 will help ensure the classes can keep going during this time.

Community Assistance 
The Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry has food available, kosher and non-kosher food, as well as Passover food.  Details are here.  

JFS has mental health services available at this anxiety-provoking time including free and low-cost counseling.  More information is here.

The JCC is offering prepared kosher meals, as well as prepared kosher for Passover meals.  They are available for anyone who needs them, regardless of ability to pay, and also for purchase at full price.  Meals can also be gifted.  The Passover menu and info is here.  The regular menu and general info is here.
