We are so excited to be starting our 2021-2022 school year off in the very first Jewish childhood center in Clayton. We have realized over our many years in operation that one of the things that our families really appreciate in addition to our warm, nurturing environment and educational philosophy is our location. Many of the families that already send their child/children to our program work in Clayton and are so happy that the new center is within walking distance of their workplace. Equally as important as our location, families care about what sets our program apart from others. We are a Jewish early childhood center that is welcoming to families of all religious backgrounds. Families seek our warm, nurturing environment. Through programming like Shabbat Ruach and Jewish holidays, children are exposed to the symbols and traditions of Judaism. In addition, our teachers create sensory-filled activities and use everyday items and manipulatives to create fun, playful ways to teach letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and more. If you get an opportunity to visit our center, you will see from one of the first moments coming into the building that we have created colorful rectangular tile pathways for children to follow in order to get to their classroom. It's a neat, playful learning experience that gets the kids engaged and geared up for learning as soon as they come into school.
