January 2022 News

We had a wonderful fall season of learning here at Monica Lynne Neidorff Early Childhood Center. During circle time classes could be heard singing songs about autumn leaves falling to the ground, listening to stories read to them, and “raking” up fake leaves scattered around the room into piles. Classes also spent time going on outdoor scavenger excursions searching for colorful leaves, acorns, and twigs that they brought back to their rooms to create fall collages.
During Hanukkah, classes “lit” their menorah, sifted through sensory bins looking for gelt, candles, and dreidels, and sang “I have a little dreidel” while trying to spin dreidels.
To celebrate the first day of winter, children and staff wore their PJ’s to school and were treated to hot cocoa.
