MLNECC has been filled with such fun and excitement the last couple of months. In March, classes celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a week filled with silly dress up days and a classroom door decorating contest. Classes also got to listen to many books written by Dr. Seuss and on his birthday, March 2nd, classes could be overheard singing “Happy Birthday.”

On Purim, children and teachers dressed up in costumes and paraded behind Ms. Karen, our Music teacher, through the hallway. After the parade, Ms. Karen did a Purim puppet show for all the classes. To end the Purim festivities, our older classes were treated to hamantashen.

This month we will celebrate our Starfish class. Taught by Ms. Dejah and Ms. Teresa, our Starfish graduates will be heading off to Kindergarten in the Fall. We know that all the kids are ready for their next learning adventure and can’t wait to catch up with them again in the future.

Michael Neidorff (z"l) will be deeply missed. He was an immensely generous man whose philanthropic endeavors allowed the Monica Lynne Neidorff Early Childhood Center to begin to blossom in our new location. His legacy will continue to be celebrated by all of us at the MLNECC as we learn, play, explore, and grow. His memory will be one of our greatest blessings.
