In December, families joined us at the center for a family program that included Hanukkah related crafts in classrooms and a sing along with Ms. Karen Kern. Rabbi Noah Arnow also joined our program and sang the blessing for lighting the menorah.

 

In February, classes celebrated Tu BiShvat. Throughout the week, lots of singing of “Happy Birthday to the trees” could be heard in the hallways. Classes also learned about the parts of a tree and were able to make their own trees in a variety of ways.

 

We also got to enjoy a few spring-like days in February. It is always so wonderful, especially in the heart of winter to be able to go outside and soak up the sun and fresh air.

 

Looking ahead, we can’t wait to celebrate Purim!
