On Friday, May 12th, we had a wonderful Starfish graduation ceremony. Families gathered in The Michael Staenberg Family Community Hall to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduates. The Starfish performed a play based on the book, Caps for Sale. They also sang and danced to songs that they had learned throughout the year with Ms. Karen Kern, our Music teacher and Ms. Sarah Anne Patz, our Music and Movement teacher. To end the graduation ceremony, Ms. Libby, played a video with photos of the kids' time in the Starfish room and over the course of the years that they attended the center.

 

Our summer camp theme this year is “Around the World in 80 Days”. During camp each week, classes will focus on different countries through the world and participate in activities and complete projects based around things that are unique to that country.
