We had such a great summer here at Monica Lynne Neidorff Early Childhood Center. Each class planned activities around the summer theme, “Around the world in 80 days”. Students spent time visiting the Australian Outback, the Rolling Hills of Ireland, Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, Kotel in Israel, and so much more.

 

We are so excited for the 2023-2024 school year. Right before the school year started, teachers attended professional development trainings where they got recertified in CPR and First Aid, got refreshed on developmentally appropriate practice, and joined together with other ECC teachers from the JCC and Shirlee Green Preschool for a workshop on the image of the child, the pedagogy of listening, documentation, and the possibilities of paint-based art with young children.

 

October 5th, we are looking forward to celebrating the groundbreaking of our Monica Lynne Neidorff Early Childhood Center expansion.
