About Us
Troop 11 was chartered in 1920 and has operated continuously for over 100 years. Starting in January 2025, Kol Rinah will be the chartered sponsor of Troop 11. The membership includes boys of multiple ethnic and religious backgrounds and ages 11-18. This unit is for boys only. However, if girls wanting to enter Scouting America, they can join one of the current girls’ troops in our area.
Troop 11 is boy-led and adult-supported. Our elected youth leaders are Senior Patrol Leader Caleb Kornblum and Asst Sr Patrol Leader George Fister.
We meet weekly with a weekend camping trip or activity almost every month throughout the school year. Besides camping, our Scouts also participate in service projects, community activities and developing many skills such as first aid, conservation, physical development, and leadership, among others. We encourage are scouts to advance through the program and earn their Eagle Scout rank where we have more than 100 Eagles Scouts.
