Theses sessions will consist of a presentation followed by Q&A. The goals of the presentation are to: Define an intruder Discuss the difference between an intruder and an active shooter Examine current trends, date and early warning indicators Discuss response options and early warning indicators By the end of the session attendees should have a better knowledge of what they can do to keep themselves and others safe when faced with an intruder or active killer situation. The information can be applied to the synagogue, work, school and home. The second phase of the training, dates to be announced, involves hands on training where participants practice escaping, evading and engaging the intruder.
