We will watch an entertaining VIRTUAL tour of the Museum

of the Southern Jewish Experience
IN PERSON at Traditional Congregation
12437 Ladue Road

Opening in New Orleans in May of 2021, the brand new Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience explores the many ways that Jews in the American South influenced and were influenced by the distinct cultural heritage of their new homes. Through exhibits, collections, and programs focused on the unique and remarkable history of Southern Jews, the Museum encourages new understanding and appreciation for identity, diversity, and acceptance.

Kenneth Hoffman, Museum Executive Director, is an innovative and engaging museum professional who has lived his own personal southern Jewish experience and who will serve as our "tour guide,"

Cost: $10 for lunch, free if just attending program, can watch virtually at home
Transportation assistance is available
Registration deadline for lunch and transportation is Friday, August 6

"Southern Experience" lunch menu will include: Fish Po-Boy sandwich (lightly breaded tilapia on a roll with cole slaw), light ambrosia fruit salad, mint juleps, and cookies for dessert.

* Traditional Congregation's policy concerning mask wearing is that if you are fully vaccinated, you only have to wear a mask if you want to.

If you are NOT vaccinated, you MUST wear a mask.

* IN PERSON at Traditional Congregation 12437 Ladue Road.

Please bear right at the fork in the driveway and park in the east parking lot. Enter through the Administrative entrance, and someone will be there to welcome you and direct you to the Heritage Center.
