puckmaren glass is a second-year rabbinical student at JTS and the co-founder and rabbinic presence of Makom Shelanu Congregation, a shul in Fort Worth, Texas where they lead the congregation with regular in-person visits and regular classes on zoom.
The lowercase spelling of their name dates back to their undergraduate days in Pennsylvania when a professor challenged them to think about G-d’s name and in the process, puck decided the only name that should be capitalized is G-d’s name.

They graduated from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, double majoring in Music Education and Music Therapy. puck taught music in the Pittsburgh suburbs for a year before earning a master’s degree in Music Performance at the University of Missouri. While in Missouri, they also taught music education in and around the college town of Columbia. They subsequently moved to Fort Worth, Texas where they earned an MDiv with a certificate in Biblical Studies from Brite Divinity School.

puck is currently enjoying teaching weekly classes at Steven's Institute of Technology.  Their students are interesting and bright young learners who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to engage Jewish academic life. They love working with young adults who are getting to decide, maybe for the first time, how they want to interact with their Judaism and the Jewish community.  puck also loves drinking herbal tea, reading books, and playing with their cat, Qatsi.
