We could use your help at Mitzvah day.

Join Kol Rinah for Mitzvah Day 2025!
Sunday, May 4, 11:30am to 1:30pm

Please join the Kol Rinah community for the Fourth Annual Mitzvah Day!  Once again, we will come together to make a difference in the lives of those in need in St. Louis, with service projects for all ages.

This year, our work will benefit a wide range of non-profit organizations, including: Crown Center, Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry, Operation Food Search, Humane Society, Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, Court-Appointed Special Advocates for children who are victims of abuse, learning about the work of Keshet on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community, and the National Council of Jewish Women.
  • We will be collecting gently used children’s clothing (all ages)
  • Please bring your spare change for KoREH's Tzedakah Fund
  • We will also have an Amazon wish list, to help purchase items needed for Mitzvah Day by April 21st.
There will be a free hot dog lunch sponsored by Brotherhood and healthy snacks sponsored by Sisterhood.

RSVP not required, but helpful

Mitzvah Day activities include a blood drive, held in conjunction with ImpactLife, to afford you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to Pikuach Nefesh, saving a life. Donors must be healthy, at least 17 years of age (16 with a signed parent/guardian consent form) and weigh at least 110 lbs.

Schedule your appointment to donate a unit of blood and save up to three lives. Giving blood takes about an hour. Please contact Tzedek Team chair Becky Mollett at beckymollett@gmail.com with any questions.

One unit of blood can save up to 3 lives. If ImpactLife collect 20 units of blood, they will donate $270 to Kol Rinah for educational purposes. And they also will make a small donation to the charity of your choice for each donor.

Make your appointment by April 30th!

Thank you to our Mitzvah Day sponsors: Kol Rinah’s Tzedek Team, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Women’s Social Club, KoREH and Monica Lynne Neidorff Early Childhood Center.
