Follow the progress on the construction

Preparing to start construction on the expansion.

The construction fence is installed. The fence is required by the City of Clayton and will protect the construction area.

Our VP of Facilities, Blair Kweskin, gave a tour to Liz Collins, Christine Walsh, Karen Wetmore and Helene Mathis. The metal studs for the partitions are up and we can see the layout of the four new classrooms.

And the kids love watching it all happen.

The partitions are up and door frames installed. Windows are kid friendly.

Footings being poured for the new exit stairs.

The flooring installation is nearly complete. The giant rolls of colored rubber become the navigation stripes for the kids to follow.

The emergency egress stairs are being installed.

Tile from the exterior of BSKI is installed as an accent at the new interior stair.
