Event Request Form

This form was updated February 2024
This form is for Kol Rinah events, Kol Rinah sponsored events, and community events that you would like Kol Rinah to participate in.

Please submit this form no later than the 1st of the month prior to your event. Large events, such as a reception or fundraiser must be submitted a minimum of 4 months prior to the event. These time frames allow for review of the event and coordination of the details before the communications committee provides the publicity. If you submit after this time, your event might not be approved and receive publicity.

Prior to filling out this form:

1- Contact the executive director (
stacey@kolrinahstl.org, 314-727-1747) to review the date, time and space needs. The form is first submitted to the executive director for review and approval before being sent to the president and chair for final approval.

2- Check the Kol Rinah and community calendars to confirm there are no conflicts with the date and time you are proposing.

Once your Event is approved by the board, the communications committee will coordinate the publicity with the event contact. Publicity includes:
  • Ad on the website homepage
  • Ad in the Wednesday e-blast within one month of the event
  • Inclusion in the Shabbat bulletin flyer and event sign in the David & Nira Asher Geller Lobby
  • Inclusion in the monitor presentation in the Bill Solomon Gallery
  • Promotion in Kol Rinah’s Instagram and Facebook
The cost of paid advertising in the Jewish Light or other publications must be covered by the revenue or sponsor of the event.
Note that the most effective means of communication and publicity for a program is one on one discussions asking people to attend by the event sponsors and champions.
