Dear Kol Rinah Family,
We are committed to doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. For that reason, please read carefully the following updates.
Minyan
Kol Rinah will be cancelling in-person minyan after tomorrow (Monday) morning. Minyan will happen as scheduled Monday morning, 3/16 at 7am in the chapel.
After that, we will not have in-person minyanim or Shabbat services for the coming weeks. However, beginning Monday evening we will have virtual minyanim using Zoom at 6pm and 7am. The Zoom meeting information is at the bottom of this email. One can participate on the phone and/or via video. Please let us know if you need help getting connected!
Office
Kol Rinah's office and entire building will be closed Monday 3/16 due to previously-scheduled work by Ameren that will shut power off to the building Monday. Beginning Tuesday, the office will be open for phone calls and emails, but please do not drop by, as the office will not be open to the public. Meetings will happen via zoom or on the phone.
ECC
Kol Rinah's Early Childhood Center is also closing effective Tuesday morning (it is already closed Monday because of the Ameren electrical work). Parents will be able to pick up items belonging to their child Tuesday morning. ECC staff and parents will receive additional information directly from the school.
Classes
We will be scheduling classes for the week, also on Zoom, with topics and times to be announced.
Our staff, clergy and synagogue leadership are working and available. We're just a phone call or an email away. Please let us know any way we can be helpful to you or your family, or others you know of during this difficult time. We are trying to figure out the best ways to sustain ourselves and our community during this time of physical isolation, and we anticipate that we'll learn and evolve in our responses.
