Shabbat Shalom and Happy 2023 from Rabbi Shafrin 12/30/2022

Dear Kol Rinah Family,

It is almost time to begin another year, and with the start of 2023 comes the ability to reflect on where we have been and where we are headed.  It's been a year of new opportunities to gather together, new ways to support one another, and new experiences to enjoy. We were able to pioneer new spiritual experiences like our Kol Chadash musical Shabbat services, our Enchanting Shabbatot, and our Kol HaMishpacha family service  I am so proud of the myriad of different ways we have engaged with and supported one another, gave back to our community with food collection, blood drives, and standing in solidarity with our neighbors of all backgrounds who called on us to fight for what is just and right.

I am excited for all of the many ways we will be able to continue to connect, whether in person or virtually, in celebration or in grief, for holidays, learning, meals, song, and the bonds we build with one another. I look forward to the start of a wonderful year together and many new, exciting possibilities ahead.

Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Scott Shafrin
