Shabbat Shalom from Rabbi Arnow 3/24/2023

Dear Kol Rinah Family,

What music do you listen to? I find myself listening to the radio less, and listening using Spotify (this is not an advertisement!) to curate my own listening more.

The last couple of days, I've been listening to Taylor Swift's first album, just out of curiosity.  (I think my favorite song so far is "Picture to Burn.")

If you're looking for some music to get you ready for our Kol Chadash Shabbat morning tomorrow, check out our
Spotify playlist.  You don't need an account or anything.  Not everything we do is on Spotify, but it's a good start!

We also have some
videos up of our Kol Chadash service on our website here

We're up to our ears in Pesach preparation, both at home and at shul.  And if you'd like to get your ears ready for Passover, check out this
VERY LONG playlist of Passover-themed music, put together by the folks at Rising Song Records (the music label of Hadar and Joey Weisenberg).

There is no Torah Talk today.

Tonight at 6pm, we'll welcome Shabbat with mincha, Kabbalat Shabbat and ma'ariv.

Candle lighting is at 6:59pm.

Tomorrow morning we'll start Kol Chadash at 9:30am.  Come for the beginning--it's worth it!  (And no Torah Talk tomorrow either.)

Mincha tomorrow afternoon will be at 6:50pm, and Shabbat ends at 8:03pm.

All the
Passover info is on our website. Sell your chametz, donate for maot chittim (money for those who need help paying for Passover food), and get all the details.

As you're thinking about Passover meals, think about Wash U Hillel.  Wash U Hillel is hosting Passover meals, and also offering meals for pickup.
Details are here.

Shabbat shalom and see you in shul,
Rabbi Noah Arnow
