Due to the weather expected on Sunday, everything scheduled to happen in person on Sunday is cancelled. KoREH was not scheduled to meet, and still will not. Our Young Families Play Date as well as Stitch and Schmooze will also not meet. B-Mitzvah Sunday evening is also cancelled.
But Shabbat is coming before the snow!
Candle lighting tonight is at 4:36pm. Karen Kern, Will Soll and I will be here at 6pm for a musical Kabbalat Shabbat! Come join us!
Tomorrow morning, we'll start at 9am. Our first session of our "Learn to Read Hebrew" class with Joyce Olshan will meet at 9:15am.
Torah Talk with Cyndee Levy will be at 10:10am, and Tot Shabbat with Karen Kern will be at 10:45am.
Kiddush will follow services.
Shabbat ends at 5:38pm.
I'm hoping that the snow will not cancel Myles Rosenblum, who grew up here at Kol Rinah, from speaking at the J on his experiences serving in the IDF. He's back in the States for a little while before returning to Israel and active duty in a week or two. Details here.
Next Saturday will be Kol Chadash, our musical Shabbat morning service.
May the one who makes peace in the heavens make peace over us, and over all Israel, and over all who dwell in the world.
Shabbat shalom, and see you in shul,
Rabbi Noah Arnow
