President's Message

We do. Believe it or not my two year term as Kol Rinah’s president will end this year. It is crucial for us to continue the work of our president and establish the next leader who will take office January 1, 2023.

In fact we have had a combined, Brith Sholom, Kneseth Israel, Shaare Zedek, BSKI, and Kol Rinah, 83 presidents! I have served 3 different times. Louis Goodman served as President of Shaare Zedek for 27 years! Kol Rinah is looking for number 5. We are only asking for two years. We need to establish our next president now.

Our nominating committee will be assembling to recruit and recommend a slate of Officers and Director candidates for the next term. I realize there is a limited number of people interested in holding positions of leadership, but it is so important to the sustainability of Kol Rinah.

Being president would be impossible if not for the support of our staff, officers, committees, and businesses that serve us. It is not impossible, and we have a number of very capable leaders who can do the job. If we call on you, please accept. You will be fully supported just like I have been. You will be given the same perks and benefits. You will be performing mitzvah. You will provide a valued service to our Kol Rinah community.
