Kol Rinah Families and Youth

If you were in shul on Rosh Hashanah, you witnessed the beautiful sight of dozens of young families flooding the sanctuary to hear the Shofar, and delight in the New Year! It was joyful to see so many children and their parents, and a good sign for the coming year. Our young families were invited to participate in interactive programs about the sights and sounds of Rosh Hashanah, and we will continue with new activities on Yom Kippur. Earlier in September, we kicked off the year with a “Back to School Shabbat” and a rousing session of Rhythm and Ruach with Morah Shelley Dean. We are excited to see families coming out to First Friday Night for Families, complete with snacks beforehand, and a musical Kabbalat Shabbat service. We continued to be busy with Tashlich for families at Tilles Park, and a festive Simchat Torah. 

Coming up in December, we will have more Tot Shabbat on December 7th, Rhythm and Ruach December 14th, and a Family Chanukah Party December 15th! More events may pop up as there is interest, so be on the lookout for Young Family emails.
