Shalom Chaverim! The 15th day (Tu) of the month of Shevat, will be the holiday of Tu BiShvat. This festival on the full moon is known as the New Year of the Trees. It is a time to celebrate nature and affirm our relationship to the Earth. It's a time to indulge in the fruits of the earth, and reflect on our relationship with the world. The 4 worlds of Tu BiShvat are: Earth (Doing), Water (Formation), Air (Creation) and Fire (Emanation). Happy Tu BiShvat!
We are honored to announce our Man of the Year for 2021, Alan Schwartz, and for 2022, Max Brown! Please join us in congratulating them. We will celebrate both of them, along with our Man and Youth of the Year from 2020, Maurice Guller and Jane Kalina, as soon as Covid allows us to have the luncheon they deserve! Kol Hakavod!!!!!!
