Kol Rinah Brotherhood wishes everyone a Shanah Tovah Umetukah! A good and Sweet New Year. Can you believe Rosh HaShana is just around the corner? The High Holiday services are a major undertaking and it’s really not too early to make plans. As always, so that things run smoothly, our volunteer ushers assist our members and guests.
If you haven’t received it already, you soon will be cordially invited to enhance your High Holidays experience as a volunteer High Holiday Usher. Ushers perform important functions, ensuring that services run smoothly and making congregants and visitors alike feel the friendliness that is such an important part of Kol Rinah. So, keep an eye out for your invitation.
Steak and Scotch in the Sukkah with a taste of Talmud will kick off Sukkot on October 9th. If you have never been at this program, you are missing out - Veggie and Fish options too.
As you probably saw, we had to postpone our Man & Youth of the Year celebration once again to October 30th (watch for announcements)! Come Celebrate 3 years of honorees with us! Maurice Guller, Jane Kalina, Alan Schwartz, Karen Huss, Max Brown and Merav Portman!
As we finally leave Covid behind (hopefully), brotherhood is embarking on a rejuvenation! Please let us know if you’ll join a decade focus groups for planning programs for guys in your age group! Also we will begin Hearing Men’s Voices again – watch for notices.
Please contact Bob Olshan if you are interested in participating in a focus group, being an officer or on the BOD of Brotherhood: 314-882-9386 or olshanr@gmail.com.
