Summary |
The High Holidays are just around the corner, and this is the time of year where we think about things we have done in the past year both good and bad. It’s also time to reflect on who we may have wronged and apologize for those wrongs.
This year we can attend services in person in our new and beautiful sanctuary and even have two types of services we can attend… one solemn and thoughtful and the second with a bit of music added in. Either will be wonderful. Thanks to Rabbi Arnow, Rabbi Shafrin and the High Holidays Task Force for giving us the opportunity of choice.
Sisterhood is in the process of sending out membership letters asking all women congregants to join us. We are a great group of women who do wonderful things for the synagogue. We donate to the ECC, the USY, Kol Rinah’s Religious School, the Capital Campaign and Mishloach Manot. We will continue to do so and ask for your support to become a member of Sisterhood.
We also had wonderful support of our Honey from the Heart fundraiser. Thanks to all the members who ordered a jar of honey for themselves or to give as a gift to a friend. Another thank you goes to everyone who sent Sisterhood Tributes to honor simchas and remember those we have lost.
At this season we reflect upon our actions and as co-presidents of Sisterhood ask forgiveness from anyone whom we have offended. We sincerely appreciate your help and encouragement and look to guide Sisterhood on our giving paths.
