As we write, the horror of the murders of the last several weeks is still new. As you read this, the shock of the Texas school shooting and the Brooklyn racist shooting may be moderated but not the sorrow, outrage and once again the worry about what these events mean for our country and our Jewish community. Our hope is that safety in our country will be a given, not just a desire.

It is Summer and that means that Fall and the High Holidays are around the corner! And Sisterhood is in the midst of our annual Honey from the Heart campaign, to send jars of honey to your family and friends. Sisterhood uses these funds to support the synagogue. We donate to the ECC, the USY, Kol Rinah’s Religious School, the Capital Campaign, Mishloach Manot. We are hoping to continue to do so and ask for your support in being a member of Sisterhood. Thank you for continuing your membership or beginning a new membership.

Our Torah Fund campaign exceeded our 2021-2022 goal. Thank you to those who donated to allow us to contribute to the Conservative/Masorti Movement’s learning institutions worldwide.

Two months past was the Jewish Film Festival, and Kol Rinah Sisterhood sponsored a film, and will also be a sponsor of the Jewish Book Festival.
