Monday, June 8, 2020 • 16 Sivan 5780
7:00 PM - 8:00 PMZoomThe Journey Hanley Road and Kol Rinah are excited to host a virtual talk and discussion on "Justice, the Bible, and Today." On Thursday, June 11th (at 7 p.m.), Pastor Carlos Smith and Rabbi Noah Arnow will talk through the ways in which the Jewish and Christian faiths have and can unite on the front of justice. The prophets clearly emphasize the importance of upholding the cause of the vulnerable. We invite your questions on this evening, which you can submit ahead of time to infohr@thejourney.org. This discussion arises at a timely moment in our history, following the death of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery among other countless tragedies. We also savor this time to come together as neighbors, especially now that Kol Rinah continues their move to their new building this summer. We are still finalizing plans for what streaming platform we will use on June 11th (Zoom, Facebook Live, or Youtube). We will be communicating those details once we have them! Please register, so that we have a sense of who will be tuning in that night.
