March 2020 Youth

Our Kol Rinah Youth have been busy! Whether they’re baking challah, learning about Israel from our ShinShinit, Shaked, or playing team building games, these teens show so much love and always want to be with each other.

USY gives youth and teens just that. A place they can be their unique selves and create life-long Jewish friendships. Our teens appreciate “connecting to the Kol Rinah Community and Greater St. Louis Jewish Community by being a part of their own community through USY.”

USY/Kadima events are a mixture of fun, educational and meaningful experiences. The KRSTL Krocs can’t wait to see you soon!

------------

For the Kol Rinah USYers, USY is a place where we can spend time with Jewish teens in a judgment-free zone. We have adapted to being a self-sufficient group. So far we have had weekly lounge nights planned and executed by the teens. We also have been
joined by the Kol Rinah ShinShinit, Shaked Birenboim, who has done programming about Israel with us. During the High Holy Days, teens led discussions about the days of awe and the world around us. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the program. In addition - a few USYers have attended regional conventions, four USYers attended Branch Leadership Training (Chicago, Illinois), four attended kinnus (Annandale, Minnesota), and two attended Inter Chapter Shabbaton (Overland Park, Kansas), and three are planning to attend Spring Kallah (Ogden, Iowa). Currently, the President and Communications Vice President are planning the Purim Carnival for March 8, 2020, at 4-6pm. Please put the carnival on your calendar and join us at 829 N. Hanley for a wonderful time.
