Kol Rinah USY & Kadima News

We have wonderful opportunities and programs to engage our teens and tweens! Kol Rinah has a USY and Kadima chapter called KRSTL (pronounced like crystal). USY is for our high schoolers (9th-12th graders) and Kadima is for our middle schoolers (6th-8th graders). We are part of the midwest region called EMTZA.

USY has continued to host a combo of virtual Zoom meetings and in person social distance events. Over the past few weeks, we have been fortunate to meet in person with masks more often which has been awesome. Over the past few weeks, USY has shifted to virtual Zoom meetings to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy. Although the group wishes they could meet in person, we have been making the most of our weekly virtual hangouts! Typically, we discuss Jewish current events and then start the weekly activity that one of our members plans. March 2020 Youth

Our Kol Rinah Youth have been busy! Whether they’re baking challah, learning about Israel from our ShinShinit, Shaked, or playing team building games, these teens show so much love and always want to be with each other.

KRSTL USY is gearing up for the annual Purim Carnival! This year we will be bringing Candy Land to life with Candy Land themed booths, costumes, and of course, plenty of candy! You won’t want to miss out on the fun for all ages on Sunday, March 10th, 4-6:30pm. We will have games and prizes, hot dogs, hamburgers, and hamentashen served by Men’s Club, and a silent auction.
