Kol Rinah USY & Kadima

We have wonderful opportunities and programs to engage our teens and tweens! Kol Rinah has a USY and Kadima chapter called KRSTL (pronounced like crystal). USY is for our high schoolers (9th-12th graders) and Kadima is for our middle schoolers (6th-8th graders). We are part of the midwest region called EMTZA. 

Our programming includes regular lounge nights every Tuesday night 7:30-9:00PM and are open to all 6th-12th graders and free to attend. Lounge nights can include discussions led by one of our Rabbis, Spa Night, Chanukah Party, Tu BiShvat Sustainability, Stand Up Comedy,  Movie Night, Cooking, Game Nights, etc. We also have additional social events throughout that year. These events are all planned and hosted by our USY teen board members.

There are also weekend regional opportunities throughout the year including Leadership Training Institute (LTI), Kadima Kinnus, Kinnus, Winter Shabbaton, and Spring Kallah. These events take place throughout the midwest region.  The weekend regional events have a cost for registration, however need-based scholarships are available. 

If your child has not been involved, or was involved before but not recently, we would love to have them join us! If your child is interested in a program but doesn't know others who are going or would like to know who will be there, please reach out to the youth director.  Additionally, if you have any questions at all about Kadima or USY and the various things we do, please don't hesitate to reach out.
